A Living Classroom
Our 2-acre food forest at Pike Food Forest becomes the classroom.
Rather than learning permaculture only through theory, participants will experience it directly through hands-on activities, food forest walks, land tours, demonstrations, tastings, guest speakers, and practical design work.
The course culminates in a final capstone project, giving participants the opportunity to put what they've learned into practice.
Take Home Your Own Food Forest
The learning continues
after the course ends.
Each participant will receive a Food Forest Starter Kit with perennial plants to take home and begin growing, creating a living connection between what you learn during the course and what you cultivate in your own space.
Designed With Families in Mind
Children are welcome.
This course offers families an opportunity to learn together about food, plants, soil, ecology, natural systems, and regenerative living while experiencing the land firsthand.
STEP UP Approved
PEP reimbursement may be available for eligible families.
